Use of AI

The instructor encourages sensible, productive, reflectve use of AI in generating written reports for this course.

What is not acceptable is simply copying an AI generated response. You can prompt AI to generate a text response, but you must make that text response your own: Is it correct? Are the words those you would normally use? If not, have you learned something about communication? Does this make clearer what you intended to say?

Direct copying, even of AI generated text, is plagiarism and can entail sever consequences.
